I'm thinking of entering the Docklands Fun Run on 22nd May. I believe its 7K which is a good distance begin with. Apart from the Adidas Race series in the run-up to the Marathon (5, 10 & 13 miles each), does anyone know any other similar runs in Dublin which are open to the general public?

I'm gradually getting my fitness back after a work/study enforced hiatus.

for mostly short races a great group are the BHAA and for general running in Ireland I often consult Athenry A.C.
