has anyone gone over the 5GB cap? If so did vodafone charge the 12c per Mb over the 5GB?

Before I bought my wireless modem I was told in two separate vodafone agents that I would be sent a letter warning me of how much I was downloading and that I wound be charged if I continued to use so much. The agent rang the customer service team and they said legally vodafone were not allowed to charge you unless this letter was sent. I have not tested this theory, however!
