You have to go down to the admin building and get them there. As far as I know they're free, I mean they should be; they're your results.

I think there might be a particular desk that you have to go to in the admin place, but you should see the signs. "Exams and assessment" or something.

aw I hate the admin building, part of me knew that's where i'd have to go though, the other part was kinda hoping there'd be an 'Official Transcript of Results' vending-machine somewhere. Thanks

Well I'd head to your programme office. They might be able to and if not they'll tell you exactly how to get them.

got them in the admin building in the end, was actually a nice, quick visit for once. They're free if you're still enrolled, 3 euro per set if you dropped out or left

I've applied for a postgrad. Says you need the transcript and passport, but you don't need a passport if you're a current or past ucd student. Do I need ot go down to admin and get my transcript and then hand it in at another counter in admin?

i'm not sure for a postgrad, but in my case i just have to enclose it with my application to the foreign university, presumably so they can look over it while reviewing the application.

Transcripts cost about 15 quid and you get 3 copies I think.

I went straight from my undergraduate course to my MA this year, and I didn't need a transcript or anything, but I was staying within the same department. If you're changing department I'd check it out. Just ask in the office of the department you're applying to!

AFAIK, you can't get a transcript til you leave. You get a statement of results if you haven't finished. That's what the admin people told me when I went looking for mine so far.

Yeah I'm staying within the same department, or school as it's now called. Thought it was fairly stupid asking me for a record of my results but specifically saying I didn't need to provide my passport.

You can get your transcripts whenever you want, just go to the student services desk in admin and ask for them, got mine a couple of months ago and wasn't charged
