Ebay/Paypal Help Please

    I just bought a MegaDrive game from ebay for £4.98 which according to www.xe.com is €7.27. I have €7.47 in my account.

    I thought that this would be fine as there are no fees for ebay buyers.

    But, everytime I go to pay for the game it says "To complete this secure payment, add a credit card to your PayPal account and click 'Continue'." and brings up a page for adding a card.

    Why is this? Do I need to have a card added to buy for security or does it want me to pay via CC?

    I always find that the total i calculate on XE is never the same as the exchange on Paypal. Paypal seems to always give a few pence less for the euro.

    This is maybe the reason, since your the payment and your account balance are pretty close!

    Is that inc. P&P(if necessary)?
    Have a look via ebay.ie - what does it say the cost is in EUR approx.? xe's and ebay's exchange rate may differ... :/

    That was the problem.

    Thanks guys, I converted it via paypal and only received £4.95.

    :(

    Oh well, my mother said I can use her CC. Thanks guys!
