Me and my girlfriend are going to get married in Vegas in the summer.

Do I need to bring any documents apart from passport? Also when we get the marriage license how do we get it recognized in Ireland ?

According to the Clark County website, passport will do fine. They suggest that those not of Sam check at home to find out if any special documents are needed to ensure the marriage is recognised in the home country.

Otherwise, the rules are as follows:

Applicants must be a Male and a Female, at least 18 years of age, and not nearer of kin than second cousins or cousins of half blood, and not having a husband or wife living.

That's pretty much it. No blood test or any such.

License fee is $55. Check the online application form.
