I think the funniest ad ever has to be the John West one about fighting the bear! So funny was in fits after I saw it. The second one was about the shark.

I always got a laugh out of the old fire safety adverts that used to be on tv in the early 90s. Some blond smoking a fag, leaves it half lit and goes to bed.... cue ominous wah wah guitar and her house going up in ball of flames...

The Mentos ads are the best.

I remember back in the early 90's an advert for some sheep de-wormer or something along those lines. The music was "bha-bha-bha-ba-ba" all the way thru and then some of the sheep jump up in the air. (I'm not mad, does anyone remember that gem?)

I remember an ad for cough sweets years ago. It was hilarious. It had this really posh guy speaking about his family in such a posh british accent!


It ended with him saying:

"If i had my way i'd give them all a dam good thrashing!"

Then he gets torpedoed by a packet of cough sweets!

The cat add was the best, I think all these Ka adds were banned for TV but turned up as viral adds, f,ing hilarious.

Does anyone have a link to the early 'Carling black lable light hearted lager, so full of flavour, Carling' ads of the 80's I think.
The ones where the adds carried through into the next add with a posse of cowboys chasing some outlaw through a supermarket? This will make sense to those that saw it. Hilarious stuff.
