Hi, I am trying to make a deposit on Stars but don't have a neteller account or credit card at the mo. Was thinking the fastest way would be to buy one of those disposable credit card thingy's. This is an accepted method of payment according to their site but i am not sure if they are available in Ireland? Does anybody know if you can get these here? I think the actual name for them is Pay safe cards.

You can get a 3V card from www.3v.ie.

It works the same as a VISA card and is issued by PermanentTSB.

You can top up in Spars and Centras and elsewhere around the place, full list is on that site.

I used it before I got a credit card and they worked grand

3v cards cannot be used for gambling online. You may be able to use a Ukash voucher but I don't think on Stars.

Yeah, 3V vouchers are the handiest to use. They're widely available but it's quite expensive if your regularly buying small amounts. They can't be used to deposit directly onto the sites but you can set up an ePassporte/Moneybookers account and deposit the voucher into that account. From there you can deposit the funds into the site. Both of those eWallets are widely accepted.. (PPP, UB, PS etc)

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah i've heard those 3V cards are no use for gambling sites alright. What about a Debit card? Anyone know if these work? Have only been playing on PPP through an in store deposit but i would like to get on a bigger site with more tournaments etc.

use Ukash its the best for your needs. Check out the full list of merchants where its accepted at their homepage: www.ukash.com

A good technique is to load your ukash onto Party Poker and withdraw it immediately to Neteller. It will be in your neteller account in 3 or 4 hours and you can then load it to any site you wish. You can get ukash anywhere that sells 3V
