Outlook Email Notifications

    Anyone know if it's possible to receive these notifications if an email is received into a folder other than Inbox.

    I have alot of rules setup which push emails into different folders, but I get no notification when I get email into these folders.

    Outlook seems to only have options to turn it on/off and looks like its for inbox only.

    I've tried googling but found no solution for this.

    Strange, i've rules set up to push mail into different folders but i always get the 'New mail has arrived, do you wish to read it now' (YES/NO) dialog box. Do you only get this when mail comes into the inbox or do you never get this?

    I only get notification when email goes into my Inbox.
    Even looking at the Options->Email Options -> Advanced Options the option display a new mail desktop alert is for Inbox only.
