I've noticed that Vodafone seem to ignore external prices. Contract N73 on Vodafone is €300 but €200 with O2; The K1 is €99 with a reasonable contract from O2. And vodafone's price plans seem to ignore the rest of the market too. Oh well, they've just lost me, my wife and my brother as customers after 5 years.

I know the feeling - I would walk straight out of there if it was'nt for the fact all my most commonly dialled no's are vodafone ones lol, really dissapointed with the level of service and price gouging

Not exactly. Opco's do tend to be a little insulated and ignorant about consumer costs (in particular call/data charges), but the main problem tends to be that there is often a significant lead time between such prices being picked and actually being implemented.
