Selling a car - any advice or links?

I'm trying to part with my Peugeot 206 of one year for something a little more fun and I've added an ad on carzone.

Can anyone give me some pointers or links (to a site or forum) which can explain the basic procedure to sell safely?

How do you receive payment and how to you transfer ownership without running the risk of getting conned or stuck with a bounced cheque?

    Appreciate the help! :)

If possible, never accept a cheque. Cash is best and safer.
Never send the papers until you have the money in the bank, there is a chance of fake notes.

Always give 3 days to clear, then send the documents to transfer the ownership.
