Pain in the lower right side of ankle

    Folks,

I am a club runner, and over the last few weeks I am experiencing a slight pain on my left leg on the right hand side of the ankle about 5 inches above the foot whenever I start into a run. It goes away gradually during any run, but when I touch the leg bone around this area with my fingers i.e apply pressure to it its fairly sore. Does anyone know what this is and how to remedy it.

    Cheers

Sounds like it could be a tendonitis. Get it assessed and treated now before it gets worse. Tendonitis when it sets in can be an absolute nightmare to treat.

I've had it for four months and counting. Do get it sorted before it gets worse.

i've been out for about 7 months with patella tendonitis, so definitely get it checked out by a professional.
