I'm interested in becoming a mobile nail technician. Has anyone out there experienced this and if so what is it like?

What is a mobile nail technician? Do you use a gun?
Or am I completely off target and confusing you with someone who is a 'white coated beauty consultant' for cutesy cutesy fingernails??

Please tell otherwise I'll have no nails left!

My sister looked into doing this once she qualified but where she lives in saturated with them (usually stay at home mums who do it while the kids are at school) so she stuck to the day job. Insurance can also be a problem if you're going mobile.

    Thanks Ellscurr,

I will have to look into more detail in those aspects. There are a few nail places in the city but I haven't come across any mobile ones so I thought it might be an area which some people would like to see.

If anyone has any more info I'd greatly appreciate it, like is it worthwhile (financially as well!), what type of courses would I benefit from, is it expensive to start up, how many hours should I work a week, etc.
