Pedal boards and velcro

Hope this might be useful for some of you, and maybe you'll be able to answer a question...

Took delivery today of a custom built case for my pedals. The foam inserts were covered on one side with what the company calls "blue brush nylon". I happened to notice that this material formed an amazing bond with the hooked side of the velcro on the bottom of my pedals -- as good or better a bond than the counterpart of the original velcro itself. Apparently it can be sourced from the case company, but I was wondering if anyone knew of another source or a similar type of material? Fabric suppliers, perhaps? Did a quick google on "blue brush nylon" but didn't come up with anything...

By the way, custom case, lift-off lid, locks, cuttable foam inserts, and delivery by courier to Dublin for €157...

Edit: the company probably meant "brushed nylon", with blue just being the colour. Got google hits with that, but no Irish retailer found as yet.

Oh goodie. Thanks for the tip. I was going to open a new thread asking for custom cases. Afraid it might be expensive for my new keys though.

    EDIT:

For music instruments they suggested I talk to http://www.dublinflightcase.com . Who suggested an estimated price of €400. I was kinda hoping not to have to sell any body parts, but then again...

To anyone interested, Thomann search Thon cases, theyre really really good, not the warwick yokes, just get a standard mixer/accessory case and build a sloped board from a piece of plywood, spray it black and hey presto! Thats what i did, thomann have a great range of off the shelf cases. Whole thing can be made for about 80 bones

I got 65cm x 36cm x 14cm internal dimensions. It's a size they regularly stock, but I had to wait for them to mould another batch because I wanted the lift-off lid. Not as strong as a flightcase, but suits me...

Have a look at the link above. They have a range of sizes. I just so happened to find a stock size that suited my needs, but I think they'll make one-offs in any size.
