Not a bad deal at all. I got these the last time round at 59.99 :(

    http://www.ibood.com/site/eu/ibood.php

slow enough delivery due to the courier company being muppets but ibood themselves were helpful and (seemingly suprisingly) responsive.

an unfortunate turn of phrase there seeing as thats the biggest criticism.

That forum... seriously, are these real people? posts of "i have one of these" from someone somewhere are not exactly insightful or helpful. I cant actually post on the forum for some reason. I wanted to post up and call people names but wasnt allowed :(

My pc is running really slow, but I don’t have an external harddisk to save my pictures and music. Guess this might be the best solution.

    Wow.

Lol there is a load of people saying heh maybe this will speed up my OLD pc, ddr2 is only supported by NEW pc's lol. Great deal and id love to get it but im still stuck on amd64 hence ddr1. Sharp i have never heard of a dell e20?? are you sure thats your computer model? generally ddr2 is only supported by new computers from the last year or so

Mine are for an E520 also, DDR2 seems to be backward compatible(with slower speed DDR2) so while I'm not 100% sure we'll get the full benefit (these are faster speed than Dell RAM), it should run at the same speed as your existing RAM.

The name of this thread is wrong. They are DDR2. Won't work for me :(

DDR2 is not backwards compatible. Shame, I'd have bought two of these if it were.

Anyone having problems purchasing , after entering my CC details and clicking

purchase, it states order denied contact your Credit card company which I have

done. Their solution ring them and order over phone???

I think those forums are mostly bogus..

"This is great" "I cant wait to own one of these" ..

Every single IBOOD is the same, its marketing I reckon, have 30 forum people slapping up positive posts about everything that comes up and people will buy.

well ddr 1 doesn't go to 667mhz so i imagine most knew what it was meant to be

would this work with a packard bell easynote E3. It's 4 yrs old i think! uses a amd athlon xp processor? prob a piece of crap for all i know

I think this is a good deal, especially as delivery is €12.50 for two items, so 2Gb is going to work out at €92.40 including delivery, that's good value.

I find the Crucial memory advisor tool at www.crucial.com/eu is great for finding out what memory type works on any PC. It also gives me guideline regarding price, plus I don't have to buy from Crucial to use it.

Not backwards compatible with DDR, yes, but every site I've read (including crucial.com) say it is compatible with other speeds of DDR2 (as I said in my original mail). They could be wrong, but I've put my money where my mouth is and will let you know when they arrive if they work or not!

Sorry, my bad! Hope it works out for you.

I haven't received my memory yet, has anyone else? Still getting emails of IBood's Offers of the Day, compared to the other junk they're selling I think I got a bargain. For example, this is one ugly looking bean bag!!: http://www.ibood.com/site/eu/ibood.php
Maybe you could use it in the garden with your barbecue: http://www.ibood.com/site/eu/forum/index.php?action=vthread&forum=1&topic=747
    Don't forget your frisbee!: http://www.ibood.com/site/eu/forum/index.php?action=vthread&forum=1&topic=748 :D

    ^^^ Agreed.

First time I wanted to post a message was to criticize a 20 inch HD television they were selling. It was €480 and had many BS posts about what a fantastic offer it was. I wasn't able to post anything on the "Discuss This Item" page.

I haven't been able to post messages there since but I guess it's probably a genuine site problem.

I have to let everyone know... these beanbags are a million times better that the more 'old skool' type!

They support your back and are sooo comfy!
