There are a few listed here but some of them are out of date (ie, CDWOW don't accept Laser anymore)

Its annoying, i went to Buy4Now.ie because all their shops are meant to accept Laser...but Play.com don't.

I could never understand the logic behind a debit card, especially when it comes to online usage....I mean in the event of a security lapse, someone getting hold of your acc no etc to what is basically your current account and can potentially clear it out with little or no redress from your bank.
In normal offline purchasing, I can't really see the benefit of laser either...

Far better to have a CC and pay it off regularly IMO. Yes this does incur an annual fee but for convenience and peace of mind, and the compatability with online shopping, it has no substitute.

I think the problem is that many people have trouble keeping control over their credit cards. Some people just can't handle credit on tap, so a Laser card is a safer alternative for offline shopping I suppose.

I find mine very handy. It means my bank account is instantly debited, and I just keep my Visa for online stuff.

Laser is really handy for me cos it saves queing at the ATM and everything I buy with it is logged on my internet banking. Now i never have to sit wondering what the hell i spent that €60 on or try to remember to write a note of everything I buy to keep track, it's all done for me. I might be getting a credit card soon just for online shopping.

Yeah Laser is great for normal shopping, but I mainly use my MasterCard for everything else. (Apart from when I bought GoW on CdWow, card was maxed out!!)
Also Cashback on Laser is great, specially in pubs.
