Just wondering if there is any alternative to nero available? I use nero a lot to burn various video files etc. and it works great except i've noticed that there seems to be a problem with burning avi's, the dubbing is fairly poor on a lot of the files... Is there another program (commercial or otherwise) which has the same functionality as Nero, but doesn't have the problems associated with bad dubbing?? I'm using Nero 7 by the way...

i use roxio, for all my burning needs, never had any issues with it....use it for converting divx to dvd, then burning...the later versions have really come on...haven't looked at nero in years, so i'm not sure how they compare

I found the best software for AVI to Dvd is convertx to dvd. Its produced by VSO software. The trial version leaves a watermark. http://www.vso-software.fr/
