I'm in the Cork area and over the last few weeks have noticed a lot of problems with RTE 2 from Mullaghanish. Sound will cut out for a few seconds at a time and rectangular boxes of pixelation appear in random patterns on the screen - like you sometimes get on sky digitla during bad weather. This has been going on for over a week now - noticed it was quite bad during home and away yesterday evening. i assume its a continuous problem though. Anyone else in Cork having the same problem?

Sounds like they're getting the feed from a Sky box again, on April 1st the signal went completely, broadcasting a "Satellite signal not received" error over the Munster airwaves, and it wasn't an April fool's joke! Probably nothing you can do on your end.

you are mixing up Mullaghanish with Spur Hill? It is Spur Hill that has been suffering those problems, and I have seen it many times in the past few days the few times I was watching RTE2

    Sorry

Yes it may be Spur Hill. I assumed it was Mullaghanish as I am in the Ballincollig/Ovens area.

Anyway the sound is still dropping out on RTE2 although the pixelation problem seems to be resolved
