There was a program on RTE earlier about the origins and evolution of card counting and it got me thinking: Wouldn't it be really really simple to write a program to count cards and even play the game for you on the net? The only reason the MIT crowd got nailed permanently was because of the developement of face recognition technology which obviously doesn't factor in to playing on the net.

online bj rooms use rngs to constantly shuffle the cards so a card counter would be useless.
