Office Scrubs and Ugly Betty etc win Peabody

Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - NBC won big Wednesday when three of its primetime shows were awarded the prestigious Peabody Awards.

"The Office," "Scrubs" and "Friday Night Lights" all took awards, which honor excellence in broadcasting.

"This American adaptation of the Peabody-winning British hit of the same title - a comedy of workplace manners and politics presented in a faux documentary form - has firlmly established its own precise voice and studied brilliance," a Peabody Award press release said of "The Office."
