Formed two years ago, The Priscillas have gained an awesome live reputation. Their shows leave audiences with huge grins, humming their catchier-than-flu tunes. They’re not just the best all-girl band in the UK, but among the best bands in the country full stop. They make music to make the heart soar, the feet tap, and the jaw drop. On the cusp of rock n roll, punk and pop, they balance perfectly sweet tunes, sarky attitude, and romper stomping beats.

Shows with newer bands such as Art Brut, The Pipettes, The Subways, and, uh, James Blunt have thrown their talents into sharp relief. And they’ve mined the experience of supporting all-time heroes such as The Damned, The Cramps, The Seeds, The Monks, and The 5.6.7.8s

They’ve played in the USA, Spain, France, Holland, Belgium, Norway, Ireland, and Switzerland. Festival appearances include show-storming performances at Glastonbury & The Electric Picnic (Ireland). And they’ve notched up a series of radio show sessions with Marc Riley and Phill Jupitus as well as being played on Radio 1, Xfm & Kerrang!

Their second single, All My Friends Are Zombies was used on a trailer for CBBC that was aired on prime time BBC1. Their legendarily audacious videos have been on heavy rotation in Topshops across Europe.

    Info on The Priscillas

You kind of know when legendary punk daddies The Damned say of your band "watch out for these girls, they're our tip for the top", that you must be doing something right.

Step forward The Priscillas, an all girl glam-rock combo who look like extras from a Russ Meyer movie. They wear capes and knee-high boots, their lipstick is red and their hair is high.

The look may have a certain cartoonish element about it, but the music certainly doesn't. It's got the clap-along hookiness of a Joan Jett number, coupled with the pure virile rock of The Ramones.

Lead singer and New Yorker Jenny Drag struts around the stage in black leather, bassist Kate Kannibal is partial to dressing up as a Sailor Girl, there's a blonde Norwegian Guri Go-Go on lead guitar and before you say "blimey, this is all sounding a bit Pussycat Dolls to me" then check out Priscillas drummer who's technique was likened to that of Animal from The Muppets.

The Priscillas are already gathering quite an A-list fan base with various Franz Ferdinands and one Shane McGowan already spotted at their gigs.
