Some food for thought for any of the more charitable among you...

Some of the members of DIT Archery Club are taking part in the 10K
Bike2Belarus Charity cycle this June, and we intend to teach orphaned Chernobyl children who have been institutionalised their entire lives to shoot while we are there. This presents a new activity to some people who really dont have much in their lives to brighten them up, and is a really unique opportunity for any student or graduate archers who would be interested in helping out those less fortunate than themselves.

If you're not interested, you can stop reading now, cause this may take a while........

The Cycle will be from June 11th to 18th, and the Itinerary is at the bottom of the post. (Joe McGrath's Itinerary, not mine)

Each student taking part is expected to raise €2000, roughly €800 of which goes to getting you there and the rest on various charitable causes over in Belarus, incuding improving Orphanages and buying archery Equipment.

I think I'll stop ranting on now and let you make up your own mind.
