Gym workout

    Hi all

    Ive been going to the gym for a while now currently I doing the followinf

    3 miles @ 7.5mph 8 min miles
    15 min cycle
    10 min on Cross trainer

    30 reps @ 65kg on LAT Machine
    30 reps @ 40kg on bench press

    and some free weights

    What else should I be doing?

    We still need dietary information to be able to help you further. It's not hard, just list everything you would eat in a typical day.

    Always do the weights before the cardio. That way you have more energy at the start, can lift more, and stimulate more muscle growth. The act of growing muscle burns lots of calories on your days off so you will loose fat well. Do not focus on weight loss when lifting as you can put on muscle and lose fat at the same weight, so it may appear you are not progressing when in fact you are doing very well.
    To grow muscle you want to be in the 8-12rep range so increase your weights.
