the creative applet doesnt work in vista, so i'm wondering how others are creating and editing playlists in vista?

I dont want to use creative media source or media player if possible.

Windows Media Player 11 should do it ?

(I don't have one but from what I read WMP11 fully supports the Zen Vision M)

    Other possibilities
Absolutely Zen (beta must request participation)
Playlist Creator makes PLS & M3U playlists.
    Media Monkey

Edit: Creative have released Vista compatible version of their software as well if you want it.

media player 11 will do the sync part but the reason i dont want to use it, is that it insisted in recoding alot of stuff thats vbr. (most of my mp3's)

zen uses .zpl playlists not standard .m3u or .pls

the software on the creative site has everything except the one component i want - creative media explorer.

oh well i guess i can edit the playlists on my dads xp pc
