I can't wait till I get HOME. Can anyone tell me is HOME going to switch from closed beta to open beta. If so when.

Does it? considering no-one has used it yet I'd hold off judging it.
Hopefully it will be as good or better than XBL cos at the moment the PSN is quite poor.

That's a pity. I was just haveing doubts about why I got my PS3. But after seeing that thread and looking at the HOME video, I must say I have no doubts at all. It will be well worth it in the end.... i hope;) .

seems like its coming out this month a beta or something but bad thing is its only for 20,000 people..not too sure if its true but someone sent me a message saying that it was coming out this month..cant possibly see anyone of us being in one of the 20,000 unless you keep watching out for it..

What the hell is with the beta. Its being released for playstation underground site in england but anywhere else in europe. Does anyone know when Ireland gets beta.

I don't think any european sign-ups have started. Some playstation underground members in the US got invitations to apply for the beta last week, but they're the only ones so far. I'd guess Euros might get the same next week.

According to Sp0ng, Sony is hoping to start the beta with external users in early May. But the number of places in the beta to start with will be very limited indeed. I think they plan to increase the size of the beta over the summer, though, in the lead up to launch.

I wouldn't be too worried about missing out initially, as nice as it might be to beta-test. I imagine a lot of stuff won't be in place at the start of the beta.
