problem with sky+??

    just got sky+ installed last wednesday and theres been nothing but trouble so far. The retailer I got it off put me down for sky world even though I said I wanted 4 mixes and the two free months of sky sports/movies.

    Rang sky nothing but passing me on to other people all the time and still have got nowhere with them or the retailer. Anyways havent sent off the contract yet as I want the proper package sorted out first of all.

    But today at around 1 every station I turn on says "theres a technical fault with this station please try later". Its still up so I am wondering is this Sky having cut me off or is there actually some sort of fault?? Can anyone shed some light? Im not ringing sky till monday as they are making me feel insane with the appaling customer service....

    U should try and reset your sky + box by pulling out the power cord and leave out for approx two minutes. Then reinsert the power cable.

    It will take approx 2mins for your Sky+ to power on fully, and hopefully that should sort it.
