    Hey guys,

I'm starting the hdip in education in NUIG in September. I want to stay in student accommodation. Which of the following would be popular with post-grads? Dunaras, Lisdonagh, Menlo, Atlantis, Centrepoint.

I dont want to get stuck with a load of first years going mad!!

    Cheers,

    J

i am post grad in nuig,

i wouldn't go for any of those, the menlo are ok but could get away nicer, dun aras is bout 20-25 mins walk from college and ages away form town and supermakets unless you've a car but traffic mental out that way.

the best place in my opinion is dun na coirbe, they not technically student onlt, but mostly occupied by students and professionals, they are nice and you won't get robbed of your deposit and esb like in the student only places.
they are privately owned and advertised in the galway advertiser all the time. only 10 min walk from nui and town on the headford road.

also gort na coirbe is next to this place and cuirt na coirbe, these are strictly student, but can be noisy at times, but still really nice app's

some of the appartments in gort na coirbe are private and WAY nicer then the student owned, these would be advertised in newspaper or with winters property estate agents (they manage them).

    hope everything goes ok
