So no official confirmation of it being on rails but first person combat guaranteed and with the promise of 'interactive pathways' i'm thinking House of the Dead in the Resi universe. Also mentioned by Famitsu was the point that nothing is pre-rendered in the game.

Looks gorgeous, definitely the Resi 4 engine. They will need a method of calibrating the wiimote since it's not entirely accurate. Could be great fun and it looks two player as well.

Cant wait for this. I love the series. Atleast i wont be annoyed when the Resident Evil 4 remake comes out.

This has a lot of promise I think, but I too hope it's not a House of the Dead clone. I always though it was a shallow, cheap, short thrill. I'd much prefer a continuation/evolution of the gameplay style of Resi 4.

Also, I hope the zombies find the detail for their eyes somewhere

I just hope they bring out resident evil 5 on wii or ill be investing in a 360

True, but then again... checking the graphics (given they are a cutscene) in the trailer, i wonder if they Wii can stretch that far. Probably not unless they remake and downgrade it.

well there was quiet a downgrade from the gc version of resident evil 4 to the ps2 version but then again the difference between the ps2 and gc is a lot smaller than that of the wii and ps3...

This game is going to rock, hopefully fill in the blanks between the original series and the Resi 4 universe.
I'll never forget first meeting the mutant sharks in the first game, scared the s**te out of me, nice!
