    Hello,
I have a UHF (Green, horizontal polarization) aerial pointed towards Three Rock. I am getting perfect TV3 (Ch62) and TG4 (Ch59), but RTE1 and RTE2 are strong but have ghosting. I am using a mast head pre-amp.
    Any advice welcome.

If you are receiving TV3 on 62 and TG4 on 59, then your aerial is pointing at Kippure, not Three Rock. This explains why you're having problems with RTE 1 and 2, which are available from Kippure on VHF only, not UHF.

Get yourself a wideband, code black aerial (chs 21-68) and re-point to Three Rock for full reception of all channels.

Thanks Bazzer. From where I am, there is very little difference in bearing from Kippure to Three Rock. I spotted that they were Kippure freq.s alright. Do you know where I would get a black antenna. I had bought a red one initially, but the green came from Navan and seemed to be better.

    Regards

Any good dealer will have the antenna you require, just insist on code black! ;)
