    Yeah looks like a Shar Pei alright. Most have a blueish-black tongue.

    ...and when they're fully grown they look like this:

    and quite often need to be re-homed due to "allergies" or any of the other going excuses that people use when they were to dim to realise how big some dogs actually grow :D
