Still have Christmas decorations up?

I realise it's April. Trying to make myself feel less strange for still having around 5-6 Christmas decorations up around the house.

I'm not the sole inhabitant, I should add. I think they look nice, cover dirt and add to the house.

Do you still have Christmas decorations up in your house? 10 votes

    Two questions spring to mind:
    What are the decorations?
    Are you a student?

No questions needed, you're just lazy ;o.

Well, I'm open-minded: Some Christmas lights are acceptable. Shiny is almost always good.

Guess this means you'll have to be digging into easter eggs instead of turkey and ham when christmas actually comes so. Just to keep a balance.

Some pubs around the area still have their christmas lights up. One place never takes them down - its either laziness or planning ahead :D

No, I didn't put any up in the first place. And even if I had they would have been gone before New Year's. The only Christmassy things I did were the Winter's Veil quests in WoW.

I still have the tree up. My house mate tried to take it down but when he saw how angry I got he left it up.

My boyfriend still has some decorations up in the living room, and his christmas tree was only disposed of last month.

We have fairy lights up in our sitting room in college, but it's not because they're Christmas decorations, it's because they're pretty and I put them back up when they were taken down, so I don't consider them to be Christmas decorations.

    Feeling better now!

To answer some questions: yes, I'm a student. I was the one who was blessed with the duty of putting them all up, as usual. Better still, they're stored in the press in my room [that is, when they are put away :o].

    * There are Christmas chimes at the front door
    * There are two Christmas snowmen in the living room
    * There is an Advent wreath in the living room, along with a snowman with chimes
    * There's a picture of Santa driving a Nissan in the kitchen
    * There's a big star hanging from the ceiling in the hallway [up since last Christmas]

Not TOO much there, really. As time goes on, they just blend in and I don't take notice.

As the matter of fact I do still have them, I like to keep them as long as it's possible and as long as they are still aesthetic. Of course keeping them too long is not such a good idea as Christmas item have their magic just in Christmas time.
