How would you say a sentense like this in Irish

"I think I wouldn't be her now if I hadn't have went there last year"

    The negatives are confusing me.

Also, while I have you attention ;)

Words such as feicfidh (i.e. ending with fidh or faidh).

    Are they pronounced as:

    Feck-Fee, or
    Feck-Hee

I think I've always been taught to say feck-fee, but I've a feeling this is wrong.

    I assume you mean:

"I think I wouldn't be here now if I hadn't gone there last year"

"Ni dóigh liom go mbeinn anseo anois murach gur chuaigh mé ann anuraidh"

Lots of other ways in Irish of expressing the sentiment.

"Feicfidh" - I would pronounce it as "feckig", but with the 'g' sort of slurred. I think they say 'feckee' in Galway.

But I only have school Irish (with a Munster accent.)

We've always pronounced it "ig" - I live in munster though. Could vary elsewhere.

I'd say "feck-hee", pronouncing the f sounds so wrong.
