New to this forum

I have been looking over this forum for the past few months and I’ve liked what I’ve seen from peoples uploads and flickr accounts. So I’ve decided to post a link to mine. I started to really get into the whole photography thing since early January. Flickr has become a great base to get ideas and techniques which I’m finding a lot to take in but also very rewarding.
Here are some shot’s that I’ve taken over the past few months.
Any tips on where I’m going wrong/could improve would be greatly appreciated.

I mentioned that I just started in January which is true in a way. Although I always had an interest in photography for a long time but never really focused on it until recently. As the years went by I would have probably dedicated 2/3 days of the whole year to going out and just taking some pictures. Not really understanding what I was doing/wanting, just hoping for a decent shot and that’s if I ever got around to getting the film developed.
With the purchase of a D80 and an empty wallet I decided it was time to get my moneys worth and so far there’s been a lot to take in such as light, techniques, photoshop etc but it’s been a worth it.
