    Hey,
I have a motorolla surfboard modem that i got from ntl,
this is connected via a straight thru cable to the belkin f75d230-4 wireless router. When I connect a laptop into one of the ports on the router with a cable the internet and everything else works perfect. I can connect to the router wirelessly but the internet wont work wirelessly.
Any ideas on why this could be?

    HI

Probably you did it but try unplug both, plug in the NTL modem, after a minute plug in the belkin router.

Also check in your router that you have enable DHCP, do not have the Mac address filter enable, try again, after check that SSID is Broadcasting, Security is disable and client IP filters is not enable to block anything.

I have the above options on my belkin F5D7231-4 but not 100 sure if they will be the same in your model.

After you get it working re-enable again the security features, Mac address filter (add the IP adress of your wireless card and ethernet card)

If you still have the problem after doing the above do a factory reset of the router.

    Regards
