Pulled a wheelie away from traffic lights but didn't see a parked cop car on the far side. Apparently they switched on the siren and lights and came after me but ahem I, ehm eh, left the scene fairly quickly...

That was 20 years ago in Waterford, I had an RD350 they had a Cortina. No contest really and now I'm a law abiding citizen etc and am sorry etc etc.

The best ones are the ones where the lad involved kills the engine once he gets it up on the point. What amazed me the first time i saw it was
    how loud the chain/sprockets were

yesbut they never caught me. would only do it on a rare occasion or when the front just pops up on it own going hard. the flip over thing just scares the **** out of me.

I'm a good boy these days though, I'll make sure there's no one around, Gardaí or Public, and generally keep it to Industrial Estates as the world has gone PC mad.

Got cought once at St. Stephens Green end of Grafton Street, did not see copper he pulled me in on Nassau Street. He was pretty cool. Told me next time not to do it when he was around as people would expect him to do something about it and he had better things to be doing.
    Very lucky break I guess

sure its good for the enviroment buy keeping the wear of the front wheel hence not needing a new tire. so by wheeling you are protecting the enviroment.

Yup, caught twice. Both on an old Kawasaki GT550 of all things!.

Only ever flipped over twice. Once on my Yamaha RD 350 YPVS on the Ballymun road about 20 yrs ago and next time on a Honda Dominator 650 about three year's ago.

Boy that Dommie was the bizz for wheelie's, but chewed up chain's.

Only bike I've rode which was hard to wheelie was a Bandit 600, crap bike IMO.

    Here's a nice bit of riding... http://www.livevideo.com/video/landing/E9CDD81E64F0438AAF74A8891EF845E5/daring-biker-does-180.aspx?tx_site=filecabi.net&tx_cid=1334&tx_category=4

Here's my Dommie and me over taking a mates car.

Nice bit of riding? He nearly lost it twice pulling wheelies and his choice of road for riding @ 300km/h is poor to say the least...
