    1. check the turn

    2. flop call's ok. fold now.

    3. um, any reads? I don't like the flop play. i might even fold pf.

    4.

    5. i think u find aa/kk here alot. awkward spot, cause cold calling the 3bet shows alot of strenght. I think I'd prefer a call pf, because I'm really not happy calling if he shoves.

    6. it sucks but I think it's a fold.

    7. ugh

Bandana, I have just started at these stakes, fwiw.

I am never getting it all in pre-flop with QQ, unless it’s against a short-stack.

Also I only get involved in raising wars with serial button raisers, who I often semi-bluff very light – as they normally fold to any c-bet on non threatening flops. For players in other positions, I take their raises at their worth. If the action is going bet, raise, re-raise, re-re-raise, then I am very wary.

My pattern is to build a stack, but then often brain-fart it off on hands like those outlined below, and it is something I am working to avoid.

A lot of these hands, you are playing massive pots, where you don’t know where you stand – this is bad. Learning to keep the pot smaller on marginal hands is essential.

By mixing up 80 % of pot c-bets on the flop, with ½ pot size bets [a lot of players are scared of this bet], checking the flop the odd time, or raising the lead bettor on the flop, you have a few more tools to avoid difficult decisions on later streets.

    H1
Bet just a little less than the pot on the flop, so pot is not over-inflated on later streets.
I might check that turn card, and am definitely not betting the river.

    H2
I would bet the flop, and slow down on later streets. Now I fold.

    H3
Horrible. The only hand you could be beating is AK. Without more info on ’taohasse’, when this deep I could find a fold pre-flop.

    H4
    You are beat. Fold.
Sometimes, at these stakes, poor opponents will lead in to you with a small bet on a draw heavy flop, to get a cheap turn-card, or pair their AK on the turn. I re-raise these players. Here against 2 players, I fold.

    H5
Without more info, I dislike. I am not getting AI with QQ at .5/1, unless the villain is playing less than 50 dollars, or there is ‘history’. Normally, when there is 'history,' I find I have over-thought things, and they have AA anyway.

    H6
I would have made a small blocking bet on the river, but expect you to be behind to either AK or a set.

    H7
Playing over 3 BIs, I fold when re-raised to 30.

    Hand 1

I think I probably just check the turn here. Don't think you're gaining anything with your bet.

    Hand 2

    flop is fine, fold turn

    Hand 3

Pre-flop I might have folded to his $38, but assuming we get to the flop then bet the flop, maybe $40 or so. If he raises fold.

    Hand 4

I'd probably raise to $35 on the flop, then I have the option of getting away if I think I need to. Going all-in is massive overkill and you're only likely to get looked up by hands that beat you. You get the same effect from a $35 bet as you do an all-in.

    Hand 5

Just call preflop, raise and re-raise is not good news for you. Then when you re-re-raise and he pushes what do you think he has??

fold to the all-in having got that far, but I think I would have just called the $10 in the first place and reevaluated on the flop.

    Hand 6

I think you have to fold the river here. I might have bet the turn for about $45 or so. As played I don't see a lot you beat on the river.

    Hand 7

You have to fold to the re-raise here surely? You might be justified in calling the raise and hoping for a Q on the flop (but not really) but I can't understand the all-in there.

mind you I was playing .25/.50 8 handed last night to keep myself entertained while playing the $20K guaranteed on Ipoker and a guy open pushed from UTG+1 for $102. I was in MP with KcKs and naturally called for $76, expecting to be behind.

When the flop came down Ad x As and then a Q on the turn I was trying to reload when the pot was shipped to me. Checking the hand history he had JdJh so who knows what way muppets play!

This is a bad board for QQ. There is a pot bet and a call into you from somebody other than the preflop raiser (aka you). At this level, I would consider folding but I would prolly call and see what happens on the turn, and fold to significant action/lots of drawy cards and get it in vs good cards (which are admitedly few)

TBH the 4-bet preflop can always beat QQ at .50/1 so i'd just fold. On the flop again i think it's a fold. Your raise is never being called by a worse hand.

Again, hate the preflop play. There's a thread every second day on boards on why playing QQ like this preflop is bad. Raise and reraise = call without a significant amount of info.

Again, I hate your preflop play. You're turning QQ into AA preflop in nearly all thse hands!

Are these consecutive hands as in the last 7 QQ hands you played??? If so wow you seem to be running them into either KK+ or savagely aggressive players alot lately. If this is the case its not suprising your having bad variance with them because theres some awful spots there and even if you played all these hands correctly your QQ profitability is going to take a negative downswing after this. I know if you dragged this from old hand histories you probably dont have any of the villains stats, this would be a big help in making the decisions.

Some interesting hands though, going by the replies i would have probably played a few of them badly myself:o Lucky i stopped playing cash

these are all within a week
I didnt count the QQ hands that did not go to the flop

    Results

    hand 1 Villain folded
    Hand 2 I folded
Hand 3 I called and he Had AA
Hand 4 PAtN1 called and had the nut fd
    Hand 5 Villain had KK
hand 6 I reluctantly called and villain had K5
Hand 7 The battle of the blinds is probably the most interesting
We had a stupid raise from a fool in ep he was making this 1.5blinds raise every hand
I raised which i would do with a large range of hands here from my SB now BB reraised but I think he knows my raising range is huge so his reraiainsg range is equally big I believe includes 88+ and AT+
I was Definitely going to 4 bet but I dont think a push is optimum
Villain called after a long think and tabled KK
    ouch
