Dunno what the nature of the chat will be but it might be worth watching and texting in.

And for those who's NTL TV is down, have breakfast with a friend and text in from there. How you get yourself invited for breakfast is up to you ;)

The presenter guy (forget his name right now) is always going on about NTL and their bad customer service. Hopefully he will give them a rattling about that.

A mate watched it and said the interviewer made a right hash of it, couldn't ask simple questions etc, said the UPC head had a free ride. That's all I heard thus far.

    That's TV3 OK.

I watched it - they had a lady on who had a problem ordering a pay per view football match and how she couldn't ring their free phone number from her mobile which with due respect is pretty minor in the scheme of NTL related issues. They (TV3) did say they asked viewers for positive and negative feedback but got only negative.

The NTL Exec Mark (?) to be fair agreed that service was poor and they were working hard to resolve the issues and spoke about all the new developments in the pipe line - he seemed a bit worn out by it all!

was there any mention of their PVR (Sky+ style system) that was supposed to be launching this month?

Actually, Mark said in his interview on Today FM less than a month ago that it would be available from "next month". That's actually now (it being April).

No sign of it yet though... it all just sounds like another spin to hold onto customers who are keen on getting a PVR. I'd be surprised to see an NTL PVR (available to the masses) before the end of the Summer.

I'd be surprised at anything ever. Their customer care system has collapsed since they moved it to Chorus late last year .

Interesting!, although I assume the drive contents are going to be encrypted (as per $ky) so you can't copy what you recorded to your PC without using a video capture card + leads.

160GB will fill up quickly these days:rolleyes:
