Cash game opinions

Ok, I was down the country playing in a cash game a couple of months ago, a situation arose when two guys where all in pre-flop when the dealer asked the two guys to turn over their cards..
It was put to the dealer that in a cash game you don’t have to turn over your cards but the dealer replied that in this club you had to, I am just wondering what people think of this ruling…. [in this case there was one unhappy bluffer  ]

For myself I did not like this ruling because if you where making a move on someone and it ended up all in before all the community cards where dealt, you’d have to show…….
As I said above just wondering what would people make of this ruling?

that's pretty unusual. I much prefer not having to show for obvious reasons...

I'd like it if I'm not in the hand, but not so much if I am in the hand.

On the whole I'd like it personally as I think I can use the info better than most 1/2 Live opponents.

It's not the norm but it is used in a few clubs around the country. I actually really like the rule. It seeds up the game and stops a lot of silly bugger nonsense at showdowns, like slow-rolling, or trying to win a pot with one card, and all that "you show first" "no you show first" bull****.
