Over the last few months I've started having alot of fresh veg with my dinner. I really do eat alot. The likes of; carrots, garlic, mushrooms, brocolli, peppers, onions, spring onions, sweet corn, plum tomatoes and never really any potatoes.

I've started eating less and less pasta/rice with my dinners because of the extra veg. Can I eat too much, what do you think?

You'd have to try really really hard. Unless you were eating it for every meal I wouldn't even start to worry. I believe that while the auld food pyramid suggests five servings the truth is scientists discovered about 11 servings was optimal, but they dumbed it down to five cause it was more achieveable.

lolz no probs. if you are really really worried you are getting too much then sign up to fitday and keep a log but as I said I think its nearly impossible to overdo it on veg!

I imagine counting calories and how much everything weighs is incredibly tedious?

Used to be a 6ft average build, bit thin maybe (need to buy a new scales to weigh myself) until I was on medication for a year or so and I put on a gut, only a gut though, no fat anywhere else. Off the medication now so I started running a few months ago and was making progress until I was immobilized by shin splints which may have been down to the fact that I introduced free weights including calf raises on the off days when I'm supposed to be recovering from the running.

Anyway I'm planning on just sticking with the running until I'm off college for the summer in about two months and then reconsidering the weights when perhaps I'm more broken into the running?

This is the cool running programme I had been following and am now following again.

Maybe a few ab exercises? To be honest I don't think I've ever had visible abs...
