    Hello,

I was browsing the Setanta sports web page and noticed that as part of the subscription process you had to give a viewing card No. Does this mean that if you have multi-room that Setanta will only be available on one TV and if you want Setanta on both TV's you have to take out a second sub???

    Thanks.

    Hi

Yes that is what it means, you would need to get a second subscription to have it in both rooms.

That really sucks, bad enought we have to shell out more money to see the same amount of sports we used to see on Sky Sports for the price of one subscription. Now we have to pay a second sub and it does'nt even work in the second room. I don't think I as a consumer have gained anything from the "competition" Setanta have brought to the market place, quiet the opposite in fact.

Its a point that I've made a few times here ... what logic did the EC use to devise the scheme where the public must pay more for more competition? Its not reduced prices, its increased them!

Maybe we could form one of those petition's online where all board members and friends and family could sign to post to Setanta and try and get them to enable subscribers to view their channels on a Multiview or for perhaps a reduced cost e.g 2 euros for second card. ???

Isn't it half price for another card (multiroom) or has that offer ended. I am going back almost 2 years now!

Cancelled Setanta subscription today. I don't think it really offers much to be honest.
