    hp ipaq pda -are these units made for or suitable for commercial use -for example delivery company using these to collect customers signatures -they dont look that robust to me -anyone got any views?

    I've seen a lot of delivery guys have them in sort of heavy duty leather cases with a plastic cover, which I assume protects them from the weather and drops.

    From using PDA's and my current PDA/Smartphone, I really don't think they would be suitable for collecting customer signatures. Unless there was some custom software written that would allow the signature to span the full length/width of the PDA screen.
