Its always your best 5 cards you can make including either one or both of the cards or neither

Player A best hand is 555JA

Player B is playing the board his hand is 555J9

So player A wins the pot with the high card A

actually, something that you might be able to clear up for me, I was playing a game in a house not too long ago, board was 5 K 5 5 5 (i.e. poker on the board), I had an ace so went all in, had 2 callers, they all said it was a split pot, I said that I won cause it was the best 5 cards. I presume I was right?

I got suspended in a EPT side event last year for doing a play that I saw Mike the mouth doing just last night on TV....ie a forward motion with chips to see a players reaction...ungentlemaly conduct so it was. 20 mins in the sin bin........so many rules ....


any room in that home game? .

Something similar used to happen actually but it was more tds asking bus drivers for rulings
