    From the Times today

'Israel has expressed a fresh desire to negotiate a deal with Arab states that could breathe new life into the stalled peace process and end its decades-old conflict with the Palestinians.

In a moment of rare optimism, Ehud Olmert, the Prime Minister, predicted that a Saudi plan endorsed by Arab leaders in Riyadh could usher in an era of peace with its neighbours.'

    Hi All,

The media have reported fresh signs of peace talks in the middle east, please join me in prayer and meditation on this cause.

God I pray asking for you to grant the leaders in this area wisdom and courage to resolve all conflict and bring peace to all nations in the middle east.

    Amen

Thank you, God for giving these two rivalling nations an opportunity to come to a final peace. May the wisdom of Solomon be on all leaders who are discussing this latest peace deal. May there be peace in the Holy Land for Jews, Christians and Muslims. Your land and your chosen followers (all who Believe in You) should be left in peace. Long live Israel, Long live Palestine.

    Meanwhile, in Baghdad......

I can't see a lasting peace in the region for a few decades at least, but we can only hope.

Stability takes a very very long time. Countries don't form into developed nations overnight, even Palestine has a long way to come.

'Man will govern itself to its injury'.

    'Nation will rise against nation'

'1Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.'

I will always endevour to make a positive difference, but I think this world will keep getting worse not better. May the Good news be spread, and the receptive blessed in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
