Registering on american apple store so as to buy films??

    My little cousin has an ipod and is registered and has her account set-up on the Ireland apple store site or whatever it is. Apparently you cant download films off the Ireland site??
    Ìs there a way of registering o nthe USA site if you dont have an american address. And if so how, cause it wont accept her Irish address obviously. She says her friend has an account registered on the usa site and she had dloaded movies successfully off of it.

    When i say "film" i mean a movie and not a song video.

    Anyone know how to set this up? I know nothing about ipods and have no interest in them but ill pass the info on to my cousin.

    I dont think its possible with an Irish credit card/address....

    There are some albums also that available on the US site and not on the Irish one

    You'd need a US Credit Card or Visa/Mastercard Debit card and a matching US billing address.

    Apple verifies the lead digits of credit cards / debit cards (where accepted) to ensure that they're from the appropriate country.

    E.g. you cannot use a UK credit card on the Irish store, nor can you use an Irish credit card on the UK store..

    You just have to get a prepaid card off eBay (for the US store) then make an account with that. Just put in any old address (even gibberish) except watch the town/city and state ARE real, and match the ZIP code (just use some company's address).

    Just curious... isn't falsifying your address when getting a credit card (prepaid or otherwise) technically fraud?

    I assume they mean a prepaid apple voucher card. I was in the US recently and got a $50 apple voucher in the Apple Store for a friend here. He registered on the US iTunes and made up an address, as above, and was able to download whatever he wanted.
