    Just a quick question,

I enabled remote management on my Linksys G router,
    here it is
I left the port as the default, but can't remember it...

Anyone know what the default port is?

    Here is your user guide:

    ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pdf/wcg200_ug.pdf

I browsed through it, but it doesn't seem to mention remote administration??
    How did you do that?

Most routers I know use port 8080 though... Give that a try

    Thanks...
    Tried 8080, no joy...

Remote Managment is under the administration tab..
I think it was 5401... or 54001... or something :D:confused:

O well.. will be home soon... will check it out then

If you don't remember the port anymore, you can always reset the router to its factory defaults, and start over again
