Hi all

There is a curious buzz coming from my tele! I bought it last August from the states!! (I know I know, heres where buying local has its advantages!!)!
I know its not the lead, as I tested that with other guitars.

Any ideas of how I find out what it could be? Only relatively new to electrics, so would appreciate any advice!

Does the buzzing stop when you touch the strings? Are you playing anywhere near a computer or computer monitor?

Single coil pickups buzz by nature. It's called 60 cycle hum.

Yeah just walk around your room, I find if you stand parallel to your amp it cuts down the hum.
