    Hi folks.

For the past few days when anyone emails my yahoo account (yahoo@yahoo.com), then a few minutes/seconds later they get a message back from the system delivery admin saying that the address boardspost@hotmail can't be found. Now this hotmail@hotmail.com account is one that I had a number of year's ago and had to leave because of spam. I have checked my Yahoo account and there is no mention of this hotmail account anywhere (as a secondary address or anything. I tried to login to the hotmail site with the old login but the account has been deleted. Can anyone shed any light onto why this may be happening?

Here is an example when I posted from gmail to this yahoo a/c:

    postmaster@hotmail.com <postmaster@hotmail.com> hide details 28-Mar (1 day ago)
    to fardavid+caf_=username=yahoo.com@gmail.com
    date 28-Mar-2007 21:27
    subject Delivery Status Notification (Failure)
    mailed-by bay0-omc1-s25.bay0.hotmail.com

Why is it the postrmaster at hotmail.com that is recieving (and then rejecting this mail?) As usual Yahoo just won't reply to a request for more information.

    Any help appreciated.

Your hotmail account probably died because of inactivity.

Yahoo used to allow mail forwarding to nominated E-Mail addresses, now only paying users can do that but it's something you may want to check.

I have the same problem. For some reason, yahoo have just started forwarding all of my email to an old alternate address.

I know where the forwards are set up, but when I try to look at the setttings, I get the message...
