Not out until next year but although much of it has been shot already there's very little publicity so far. Set in 1944, during the closing stages of the Second World War, when the Finnish army with German help repulsed Soviet invasion and guaranteed their freedom while the rest of europe fell under Soviet control.

Personally can't wait. It promises to be as authentic as possible, even using some genuine wartime vehicles. It's been a good while since I've seen a genuinely good war movie, the last one probably being The Lost Battalion.
One interesting feature is the use of a Focke-Wulf Fw 190 replica, made by the
    German company Flug Werk.

I love seeing a good war film about forgotten battles or fronts, which is why I always get excited about films about the neglected Eastern Front. Thanks for alerting me to this one Havok.

Was just talking to a mate about this film during the week but couldn't find anything on it and completely forgot the name of it. Hopefully it's as good as I'm hoping it will be.

Is there a link to the trailer or directions in the site? My finish is non-existent

I really hope theres an irish release of this. Though more than likely HMV will have it when it does come out on DVD.

It's coming from the writer of Framom främsta linjen so I wouldn't have too much hope for this one.
