3rd day of play in a row for the Windies. Despite having backed NZ to win the tournament, I feel the Windies will take them in this one.

    Thoughts?

    Updates here tomorrow...

    C'mon teh Bl4ck c4pp13s!1!!11!!!!

I would like the Windies to win though. It's bad enought that most of Asia isn't following this tournament anymore. It would be diabolical if the home fans also decided to turn off the telly.

I shall be cheering on New Zealand but the loss of Vincent could be crucial. Fulton is steady but himself and Fleming as an opening partnership does not inspire me too much. Taylor is struggling with an injury as well. Fleming though hopefully will come up with a masterful plan again!:D

The Black Caps are bowling first, The West Indies are 7-0, Bond is looking dangerous here though

The West Indies are begiining to play here, 52-1, Chanderpaul is gone no prize for guessing who bowled him out.
    Gayle is on fire!

    Windies 96/4 (26ovs)

    Oram with 3 wickets.

Lara and Bravo at the crease...

Lara has to hang around for a while, if they can muster 240 or over they have a chance especially as the Black Caps are missing Taylor and Vincent.

    WI 152/6 off 39 overs.

    Lara gone, hutch open.

    Vettori on a hat-trick....

    176/9

    Collymore survives the hat-trick ball.

West Indies 177 all out, off 44.4 overs

Woeful from the Windies, wonderful from the Kiwis.

Play due to resume at 6:45pm.

V impressive from the Kiwi's alright.

Hope they can follow up with the bat. A win here and wins over Ireland and Bangladesh should see them through to the semi's safely

20 minutes will tell us if they miss Lou Vincent. The West Indies must be thinking that their batting is marginally more fragile.

Flem needs an innings like the one he played against SA in 2003 CWC.

The middle order will have to do well here, especially Styris and Oram on this pitch its no banker.

    Fulton gone! Second ball!

    NZ 0/1 in the 1st
