Muay Thai will ask of you in time for a high level of fitness, but if you don't already have it - it will help you on your way to getting there. Don't worry about that too much, if you're not im shape your instructor will understand that.

Bridgestone (bridgestonemuaythai.com) is one place. There is another, but I can't remember for the life of me the name of it.

I'm sure one of the MT guys on here (paddyc) will ptu you in the right direction.

    Thanks
I'll give it a shot, do you know is it just a walk in kind of scenario, or do you need to call and stuff before you do arrive!

No idea buddy. I'd say you'd be grand to pop in. Don't see any reason why you wouldn't be.

Yeah, Bridgestone is a walk in affair. Be there about ten to seven, give you a chance to get changed and what not.

As the others have said...you don't need to be fit starting. Doing the training alone will raise your fitness levels. Jesus, I thought I was reasonably fit....until Tuesdays class. You do as much as you can in a class, and your pad man should push you (as you should push when you're holding the pads) to get that last bit out. :)

Bridgestone is walk in. 7 euro per class. 15 minutes early on your first day is good. Shorts + t-shirt. Hand wraps are good, but not essential for your first class. They sell them on-site for 5 or 6 euro.

    See you there. :)

Edit: I'd recommend Thursdays for your first class, only because it usually sees a bunch of first timers, so they get separated out and shown stance, basic punches, basic kicks etc. which gives you a good grounding for further classes.
