    .......but i need to find some software to boost the sound on my computer.
    need it fast for soccer match!
    cannot get any other speakers.
    all i have is one walkman speaker.

    I hate to be a bastard but that's just pointing out an irrelevant point. I am watching the match on rte website and the sound is very low. if you understand anything about wav files or mp3's then you will know that they can be made louder ( a simple example of this is in the increase volume option in windows sound recorder). So what i am basically looking for is software that can quickly record the sound as it plays, edit the sound to make it louder and then quickly play the sound- which is in fact very possible!

    Btw, I know that the computer can output louder sounds than i am listening to because other files such as music files sound louder.
